We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant for a consulting project with a Headfarmer client. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for participating in the general accounting operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
· Coordinate and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
· Provide support in connection with the annual audit
· Provide guidance and support to junior members of the accounting team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems and ability to pick up on systems quickly.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
